DJ Abisalih, a second year student at the New England School of Broadcasting in Bangor, is my new intern for the                                                                  Radio Show. DJ graduated from Scarborough High and will help produce the show and be "live" with me and Ted Talbot.                                                   June 6, 2006 was DJ's first show.

"Return of the Professors." David Ruff and Mark Kostin of the Southern Maine Partnership at the University of Southern                                                  Maine were in studio again to highlight a show talking about the importance of the Senior year of high school. June 6, 2006.

Matt Narel, Beacon House Program Director and Bart Keinath, Beacon House Education Program Director on the                                                             June 3, 2006 show featuring their community based organization which serves children, youth, and families with emotional,                                   behavioral, and educational needs.

NHL referee, Wes McCauley , Canadian born and now living in S. Portland. Following in the steps of his father who                                                            was the former director of NHL officials, Wes just completed his first full year as an NHL official. He was also an assistant                                          hockey coach at Scarborough High School. July 8, 2006.

The host of "Bill Green's Maine" on WCSH Channel 6,                                                              shared his views about organized youth sports, PE, and introducing kids to all of the outdoor physical activities Maine                                                         has to offer. July 8, 2006.

Keoni DeRenne, 2B and SS, for the Portland Sea Dogs on the July 22nd, 2006 Show. Keoni hails from Hawaii and                                                              played college ball at the University of Arizona under my good friend and partner, Jerry Stitt. "He's one of the all-time                                                              great players and persons," says Coach Stitt.

Chris graduated from high school at Brunswick and started working in concessions. Charlie is in his 33rd year                                                           of professional baseball. He was the Sea Dogs' first employee and has been with the club since its inception in the fall                                                         of 1992.

Mark Zadakis, 21 yr old broadcast journalism student at Husson College. Mark has Muscular Dystrophy and was one                                                          of the co-founders of Youth Mentors, Inc., an organization dedicated to empowering young people with disabilities to                                                         meet the daily challenges of living with a disability. The philosophy is to focus on strengths, gifts, and setting goals and                                                      not the disability.   Seated next to Mark is Mary Redmond-Luce.

Andrew Dolloff, Asst. Superintendent of the Scarborough School District, and former AD, and Principal at Scarborough                                                     High when that school changed their Mascot from Redskins to Red Storm. The September 30, 2006 Show on "Making                                                   Sense of the Indian Mascot Issue.

Bruce Crowder, Assistant Coach of the Portland Pirates Hockey Team and DJ Abisalih on the November 4th show.                                                         Bruce played college hockey at New Hampshire and in the NHL. He coached for 19 years in Div. 1 at U Maine and                                                       Northeastern. While at U Maine, Bruce received a Masters degree in Education.

Lauren Grousd, Real Life Real Talk Coordinator, Planned Parenthood and Daryl Forte, Boys to Men Board Member on                                                        the Nov. 11th two-hour Health Show.

Margaret Harrison, a junior at Yarmouth High was in the first group of students to receive an iBook for use at school. We                                             learned about Wikis, Natives and Immigrants, and student blogs on the December 9 show.

Alice Barr, Instructional Technology Integration, at Yarmouth High, is responsible for helping teachers and students learn                                                how to integrate technology into every class.

Yarmouth High Principal, Ted Hall explained how the community was solidly behind the funding of computers for all high                                               school students.

Scott Andrews, Outdoor Writer, helped to produce the Dec.16th show on Skiing. Read his blog on Mainetoday.com. www.outdoors.mainetoday.com/downhillski/skibum I met Scott , an AP correspondent, at a Sea Dogs' game last summer                                            when we decided to do this show.

Regis and Carla Markus, Executive Director of WinterKids on the December 16th show. Carla is the state-wide "evangelist"                                                for getting Maine outdoors during Maine's longest season. Dr. George Babikian, Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon from Orthopaedic Associates of Portland.                                                                                            Dr. Babikian appeared on the January 6th show. Dr. "B" repaired my son Tanner's collarbone and got                                                                                     him back on the ice in six weeks.

Gary Prolman, Executive Director of Maine High School Hockey, the Maine H.S. Hockey Invitational, and                                                                                  the Fix Cup Hockey Tournament on the January 13th show.

Kit Smith, Brunswick High School senior on March 31, 2007. Kit was the 2007 Travis A. Roy Award recipient                                                                    recognizing the best student-athlete in Class A High School Hockey. The criteria for the award are academic                                                                  achievement, community involvement, and athletics. Kit gets A's and B's, loves Latin and takes Calculus.                                                                                    Last summer he went to Guatemala with Hanley Denning, and this year led the Brunswick High hockey team                                                                           to the playoffs. He's already been accepted at Colby and Bowdoin.
